Since January 1996, COMPASS has maintained the most complete list of financial institutions on the web in the northeast, including New England, New Jersey and New York. Three years ago, there were fewer than 30 New England financial institutions on the web and approximately 20 in New Jersey and New York. Now there are more than 570 in the eight states and the number is still rising rapidly.
