- Before founding COMPASS in 1986, Bob had an extensive banking background, having successfully served as President and CEO
of two community banks, Columbus National Bank (RI) and Riverhead Savings Bank (NY). He also
headed up the Rhode Island Banking Group (retail and small
business) for Hospital Trust National Bank (before its acquisition by BankBoston), managing more than 40 branches and the retail and small business activities of the Bank and served as the holding company's Director of Corporate Planning.
- At COMPASS, Bob has focused on assisting community financial institution clients in the areas of strategic business planning, expansion planning and branch site analysis, retail and small business product development, organizational development and management effectiveness. Bob has also conducted in numerous market research studies.
- Bob is a graduate of Brown University and
the School for Bank Administration at the University of Wisconsin.
